ImaSight 4600
The
ImaSight 4600 employs an all-digital technology that involves the conversion
of x-rays
into different wavelengths of light, which are then integrated Through a proprietary glass
and polymer lens array to create an extremely sharp image. At 4.6 lp/mm, the resolution of the
ImaSight 4600
sensor largely exceeds the minimum recommendation of 2.5 lp/mm from the American College of Radiology.
How it Works
The ImaSight 4600 digital sensor instantaneously acquires the x-ray source image
in standard 14" x 17" format. When the source stops emitting, the sensor immediately
converts the image into a standard digital image format that makes for easy transfer and storage.
Once the image is transferred and stored, the ImaSight 4600 software reads the image
and displays it on the screen. In addition to its viewing feature, the ImaSight 4600 software
also calibrates the image, improving its quality, and can transfer any image to your PACS system and over the
Internet to remote users.
The ImaSight 4600 can be used with your existing x-ray equipment and practice management system.
Images are transferred to the diagnostic workstation through a standard Ethernet port. Built-in networking and collaboration
capability means that images can be transferred or stored virtually anywhere with the “touch of a finger”. And,
digital images will maintain "archival quality" and can easily be archived on compact optical disks (CDs, DVDs)
or hard-drives. This represents tremendous time and space savings over traditional x-ray film library maintenance.
